A van smashed into five parked cars on a residential street, leading to a road being blocked for three hours.
Police were called to the collision at Buckland Avenue, Dover, yesterday just before 1.30pm.
Karol Steele, a resident who lives in the road told KentOnline: “Five vehicles were damaged after a white van smashed into parked cars. No one was hurt.
“It was a shock to everyone at our end of the street - there was an almighty bang just outside my house and I thought ‘oh, that’s a car crash’.
“The owners of the first two cars damaged had only recently moved into the street, and one of their two cars was brand new. They are still in the street waiting to be towed away.”
A spokesperson for Kent Police said no injuries were reported but the road was blocked while awaiting recovery of the vehicle.
It was cleared by 4.30pm.
