A routine stop of a man driving without wearing a seatbelt led to police finding weapons and drugs in his car.
The 30-year-old from Aylesham was pulled over by a patrol in the Menzies Road area of Whitfield at around 8.30am on Tuesday.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "Officers believed he was acting suspiciously and carried out a search of his vehicle, where they located a knuckleduster and several bags containing cannabis.
"The man was also found to be in possession of a lock knife."
He was arrested on suspicion of drug-driving, possession with intent to supply cannabis, possession of an offensive weapon and driving without insurance or a licence, and has since been released from custody pending further inquiries.
