Police investigating an attempted robbery in Dover are appealing for witnesses - particularly a dog walker who may have seen it.
The incident is reported to have taken place in an alleyway between Harold Street and Laureston Place at around 5.30pm on 22 November.
The victim was approached when walking down the alleyway and punched in the face by the suspect who also attempted to take his mobile phone.
The suspect was described as a white male, about 6ft tall of medium build.
Investigating Officer Detective Constable Brigitte Collard said: "Although this robbery took place in November, it was not reported to police until recently. We would ask anyone who might have more information to get in contact.
"In particular we are keen to identify and speak to a dog walker who came around the corner as the incident was taking place and who may have seen the suspect running away."
Anyone with information is asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 or Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 quoting reference ZY/45054/16.
