Woman taken to hospital after being hit by car in Worthington and York Street

A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after she was hit by a car near a pedestrian crossing this morning.
The crash happened just before 10.30am close to the Accommodation Shop and the pedestrian crossing in Worthington and York Street in Dover.
Anyone who saw the crash is asked to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538 quoting incident number 12-476.
