Woman taken to hospital after crash on the A20 roundabout near Aycliffe

A woman was taken to hospital yesterday after a crash on the A20 roundabout near Aycliffe.
Kent Police were called to the Western Heights roundabout at 4.37pm to reports of a collision between a Cleo and a Corsa.
A female occupant with suspected minor head injuries was taken by SECAMB to be treated at hospital.
Kent Fire and Rescue were also at the scene at 4.48pm.
A spokesman said: "We were called to an RTC on the A20 but persons were out of the vehicles before arrival."
The accident caused delays for many passengers yesterday evening as the road was blocked for around four hours.
Kent Police confirmed the vehicles were moved at around 8pm and the road was fully re-opened by 8.30pm.
