Woking ensured Dover's Bank Holiday Monday was as miserable as the weather, winning the Vanarama Conference clash at Kingfield 6-1.
Chris Kinnear's side were 3-0 down inside the opening 25 minutes following goals from Giuseppe Sole (2) and Scott Rendell.
Stefan Payne reduced the deficit in the 30th minute with his second goal in as many games, having scored in Dover's 2-1 win against Eastleigh at Crabble on Saturday.
But that proved to be the last bit of cheer for the travelling Dover fans - striker Rendell saw to that.
He scored a second-half hat-trick to finish the match with four to his name.
The defeat sees Dover drop two places on the table to 18th.
Earlier, new signing, former Ebbsfleet United central defender Yado Mambo, who previously played one game for Dover while he was on loan from Charlton in 2009, started after agreeing terms on Sunday.
Winger Christian Nanetti also started for the first time this season, replacing the injured Ricky Modeste.
Dover: Walker, Orlu, Stone, Kinnear, Sterling, Mambo, Lock (Murphy 67mins), Nanetti, Elder (Reid 77mins), Payne, Wynter (Deverdics 31mins). Subs not used: Cogan, Owusu-Ansah.
Attendance: 1,454.
