Dover's Conference days looked numbered

AFTER only managing a draw in a game they needed to win, Dover now need a miracle to stay in the Conference.
Once again it was their old failing in front of goal that let them down after another industrious performance which took Whites' record under new manager Clive Walker to eight points from four games, with just one goal conceded.
Dover created what few chances there were in the first half, but the second half was more entertaining and Leigh's Michael Twiss was denied by a fine save from Whites' Paul Hyde.
The home side then regained the initiative but with leading scorer Keith Scott unable to end his four-month goal drought, Whites were left frustrated at the final whistle.
Tonight (Monday) they are at home again to fellow strugglers Woking, who dropped into the bottom three after Saturday's 3-1 home defeat by Barnet.
