Dover & Deal Schools FA’s under-11s are celebrating after making the Kent Schools Bill Carney Trophy quarter-finals for only the second time ever.
Needing to win to guarantee a place in the quarter-finals in their last league match away to Shepway, they won 5-0.
This meant Dover & Deal finished joint-second in the league and will likely now have an away tie against Orpington and Bromley in the new year.
They have won away games this season against Swale, Canterbury and Shepway as well as recording home victories against Ashford and Maidstone districts.
The boys come from a range of schools including Warden House Primary School, Vale View Community School, East Langdon, White Cliffs Primary College for the Arts, Whitfield Aspen School, The Downs Church of England Primary School, Dover College, Eythorne Elvington Community Primary School and Deal Parochial Church of England Primary School.
