Dover have made their second defensive signing in as many days ahead of new campaign.
Whites kick-off their Vanarama National League season with a trip to Barrow on Saturday and have been boosted by the signing of Matt Young.
Having swooped for Maidstone defender Jack Parkinson on Thursday night, Dover boss Chris Kinnear has added further reinforcements to his squad.
Young is a 21-year-old defender who was released by Sheffield Wednesday in the close season.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at Carlisle, making 20 appearances for the League 2 outfit.
