Moses Ademola cancelled out a Craig Dundas opener at Crabble on Wednesday night to ensure a 1-1 draw and leave the tie nicely poised going into the second leg at Gander Green Lane on Saturday (3pm).

Leberl said afterwards that he was confident that Whites would still make it to the final, likely to be against old foes Ebbsfleet, who beat Bromley 4-0 in their first leg clash on Wednesday.

Leberl said: "We've apparently got the best away record in the country, with the amount of games we've played, and so we've got to be confident.

"We are used to winning away from home and the lads will go into Saturday's game very positive."

Leberl added: "Sutton are a good, strong side and, after we made that very poor start, to get a draw and create some decent chances was pleasing.

"We didn't let our heads go down and crept back into the game and in the second half I thought we did relatively well.

"I thought some of our young lads were a little bit nervous at the start of the game but once things had settled down they were okay, and the crowd were good tonight and helped them through."
