Farnborough 1 Dover 0
DOVER ATHLETIC'S fleeting revival came to a halt as they were beaten by Farnborough in the Conference last night.
But manager Gary Bellamy drew encouragement from his side's performance in defeat after they laid seige to the Boro goal for the last 20 minutes but failed to breakthrough, including missing a 73rd-minute penalty through skipper Keith Scott, whose effort was saved by home keeper Steve Farrelly.
Farnborough's winning goal came on the half hour when Christian Lee fired home from close range after Chris Piper's cross had caused problems in the Dover defence.
