Dover Ath 2 Barnet 2
BEFORE Saturday's game, Dover and Deal MP Gwyn Prosser officially launched the Dover Athletic Supporters' Trust, under which Whites fans will raise funds for the club in return for a seat on the board.
The club is still involved in talks with a group of potential investors and hope to be able to make an announcement by the weekend.
On the field, Whites produced one of their most spirited performances of the season to hold high-flying Barnet on Saturday. Barnet outplayed Whites when they won 2-0 at home in August, but they were given a much stiffer examination at Crabble and in the end were relieved to go away with a point.
Substitute Frazer Toms gave Barnet a 44th minute lead, but Dover hit back superbly after the break to go in front through goals from Jimmy Strouts and Jake Leberl. Barnet, however, salvaged a point when Steve Norman deflected a Mark Gower cross into his own net 10 minutes from time.
