Oldfield ends Dover's Cup dream

Dover 0 Oxford 1
A SPECTACULAR overhead kick by Oxford's David Oldfield on 22 minutes ended Dover Athletic's FA Cup run.
Oldfield made no mistake from close in following a flick-on from Dean Whitehead.
The Kent club put on a fine display and went close several times. Early on Nicky Dent blasted wide from a good position.
Whites were then unlucky when Oxford goalkeeper Andy Woodman acted smartly to deny Dent who then fired wide from the follow-up.
After the game, Dover manager Clive Walker said he was pleased with the way his players had battled.
