Dover Athletic chairman Jim Parmenter has insisted Whites “have no interest” in signing Jack Parkinson from Maidstone United.
Stones boss Jay Saunders had claimed that “Dover have been after” the 24-year-old defender/midfielder, adding: “but he’s a contracted player and they haven’t made a formal offer.”
But Mr Parmenter responded: “I don’t know what Jay Saunders is talking about, it’s nonsense, we’ve not made any approach for the player.
“We had a conversation with him (Parkinson) when he was about to leave Woking but since then we’ve had no interest in him.”
