Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club Annual Regatta takes place this weekend in Dover
06:00, 28 August 2020
The Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club Annual Regatta will be staged in Dover this Bank Holiday weekend.
There will be a series of races varying in length and course across the two-day regatta with Monday in reserve if the weather conditions dictate.
The yachts will compete for the Davidson Plate and the Iverson cup.
Racing has been difficult under the Covid-19 restrictions but nevertheless the sailors are all keen to get out on the water once again.
Unfortunately the club is unable to open to the public as per usual this year but your best viewing option could be Marine Parade, Shakespeare Beach or any of our wondrous cliff tops.
If you would like any further information regarding sailing or the race times please call the club house on 01304 206262.
The club offers many sailing opportunities to its members and guests with both taster sails, RYA accredited courses and a fun social life.
