DOVER Sharks Rugby Club face their biggest game for years when they travel to Devon side Cullompton in the quarter-finals of the EDF Senior Vase on Saturday.
A party of 25 players and officials leave on Friday afternoon for the trip to the West Country and an overnight stop in Exeter.
Cullompton are second in the Cornwall & Devon League – a point behind leaders Newquay Hornets – and have lost only twice at home this season. They won 23-9 at Droitwich in the last round.
Coach Graham Tonks, whose side are two games from Twickenham, said: “We have concentrated on our own preparations rather than worry about the way they play.
“We will both be unknown quantities to each other but that is the exciting part about this competition, that you just don’t know the quality or the strengths.”
