ONE class piece of finishing by Mark Stein was enough to settle this tight encounter at Crabble last night as Dagenham extended their lead at the top of the Conference to eight points. The former Chelsea striker produced a clinical 75th-minute finish from Paul Terry's through ball to condemn struggling Dover to their 11th defeat in 15 matches.
But Dover could draw encouragement from the way they more than held their own against the high-flying Daggers, who had defender Steve Heffer sent off after 67 minutes for a bad foul on Jimmy Strouts.
