00:00, 06 February 2009

Top European rallycross stars are converging on Lydden Hill Circuit this Saturday to compete in the final round of the circuit's Winter Rallycross Series.

The Dover circuit has received more than 50 entries for the event from drivers keen to gain experience of the track ahead of Lydden staging the opening round of the European Rallycross Championship on Easter Monday,

Lydden managing director Amy Doran said: "This is the last chance for all the European drivers to come over and practise on a circuit which is brand new to them, and we are expecting a good crowd to come and watch them."

Gates open at 8.00am, followed by practice at 9.00am with the first heats scheduled to start at 10.00am. Admission is £12, and accompanied children under 12 are free.
