DOVER Athletic's new chairman Mick Kemp is waiting to hear whether general manager Bill Williams will be taking over the vacant team manager’s post at Welling United.
Mr Kemp said: “Bill is meeting Welling officials this week, and he has also spoken to Woking, and we will not stand in his way if he wants to leave.”
Kemp also confirmed that he planned to meet former manager Neville Southall once the former Wales goalkeeper returns from a business trip to Luxembourg. Southall is still living in Deal and Mr Kemp said: “I spoke to Neville before he went away.
“I won’t be offering him a job, I just want to hear what he thinks he can do for Dover Athletic, because he has let it be known that he would like to be involved with the club. But he will certainly not be involved in team affairs because we already have a team manager.”
