Now’s the perfect time for you to experience this for yourself, with applications open for courses beginning in September. There are ten subject areas for you to choose from and these include Health and Social Care, Bricklaying, Hairdressing and Computing.
The lecturers are committed to guiding you through your chosen pathway at your own pace, and will go the extra mile to ensure you’re confident in putting what you learn into practice.
Getting a qualification means you’re much more likely to find employment when you finish at the College, or can provide vital UCAS points for university applications.
But before you progress into the workplace or university, you’ll get to enjoy the excellent facilities on offer at Sheppey College. Industry-standard equipment and lecturers with professional experience mean you’ll be able to fully hold your own no matter what you decide to do after leaving College.
Also, it’s incredibly easy to get there! Sheppey College is two minutes’ walk from the town’s train station, with regular buses to the neighbouring Tesco store. There are also plenty of lunch options, both in the on-campus refectory and on the nearby Sheerness high street.

The Student Experience Officer is on-hand to guide you towards money saving schemes only available to students, discounting prices on everything from lunch to trips.
The Student Experience Officer is also there to support every student throughout their time at the College. Whether it’s stress, problems at home or just the desire to talk to someone, they are there to listen and to assist you. They also organise trips and events throughout the year, giving you plenty of opportunities to make new friends and have fun.
