Assault in Preston Street, Faversham, outside Ossie's Fish Bar

A man remains in custody today after reportedly assaulting two women in Faversham town centre.
Police and paramedics were called to Preston Street at around 6pm yesterday (Sunday).
Officers arrested a 43-year-old man from Faversham on suspicion of assault.
One ambulance crew attended the scene but a spokesman said the women declined hospital treatment.
