Motoryclist dies in crash in Graveney Road, Faversham

A motorcyclist died in a crash with a car in Faversham last night.
The biker, who was in his 40s and from Newington, near Sittingbourne, was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision in Graveney Road at 7.40pm.
He was riding a Yamaha Fazer which collided with a Skoda Fabia near the junction with Homestall Lane.
A pillion passenger, a woman in her 40s, was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not reported to be life threatening.
Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the circumstances and would like to hear from anyone who believes they saw the vehicles in the moments leading up to the crash.
They are particularly keen to obtain dashcam footage, or CCTV, of the vehicles involved.
