Police have confirmed that a body found in Faversham is that of missing 81-year-old Anne Gregory.

A post mortem took place on Monday and cause of death was inconclusive but not believed to be suspicious.

The coroner has been informed and an inquest will be held.

Great-grandmother Mrs Gregory went missing from her home in Churchill Way, Faversham, on the weekend of October25-26.

Police found her body in the Iron Wharf area shortly after 10am on Friday.
