Bones have been found by workmen fixing a water leak in a quiet village.
Three police vans and forensics were called to Colonel's Lane in Boughton-under-Blean, just outside of Faversham, after the workmen made the grisly discovery.
Forensics carried out an investigation, later revealing the bones to be those of an animal.
Police had been called to the site shortly after 1.30pm yesterday.
A spokesman said:"Officers attended the scene and following forensic analysis the bones were found to not be human."
