Brazen thieves stole a tractor from a new housing development and escaped down a bridleway late at night.
The green and yellow John Deere was snatched alongside a yellow Harley power rake from a site off Brogdale Road in Faversham.
It is believed the machines were taken overnight between December 8 - 9 and then driven up a bridleway towards Vicarage Lane.
A police spokesman added: “The investigation is being led by Kent Police’s Rural Task Force and anyone with information should call 01795 419119, quoting reference 46/218859/23.
