A broken down lorry caused major delays during the evening rush hour.
Traffic built on the A2 approaching Brenley Corner London-bound due to the broken down vehicle at junction 7 of the M2.
One commuter had been stuck in traffic for more than 20 minutes, describing the delays as a “nightmare”.
Shortly before 7pm, the broken down lorry was removed and it is understood delays are clearing.
Earlier, National Highways said: “There are currently delays of 40 minutes against expected traffic.”
More as we have it.
