Man spends Christmas Day in custody after cable theft from railway in Faversham

A suspected cable thief spent Christmas Day in custody after officers were called to a railway.
British Transport Police went to Faversham in the early hours of yesterday.
A van, which is thought to be connected to the suspect, was seized by officers.
Images Tweeted by the force show security officers were also called.
The man was taken into custody to be interviewed.
He was later bailed with a curfew while an investigation continues.
