All lanes have now been reopened on a motorway after a motorbike and two cars collided earlier this evening.
Queues formed following the crash which partially blocked the M2 between J6 A251 Ashford Road (Faversham) to J5 A249 (Sittingbourne / Stockbury Roundabout).
Kent Police confirmed it had attended the incident involving two cars and a motorbike on the Londonbound carriageway.
A spokesman said at the time: "Officers were called to the scene on the Londonbound carriageway between Junctions 5 and 6 at 5.38pm on Monday 31 May.
"A man has sustained injuries and is being taken to a local hospital.
"Drivers may experience congestion in the area while work is ongoing to recover the vehicles."
The jam is likely to be made worse by the high volume of Bank Holiday traffic being experienced on Kent's roads.
The road was fully reopen just before 8.30pm, though traffic caught in the jam may take time to get through.
