A car overturned near Faversham as heavy snowfall causes delays on Kent's roads.
The accident happened on the A251 Ashford Road near the A2 Canterbury Road.
The scene has now cleared but motorists are warned to drive carefully as the wintery weather is set to continue into tomorrow.
Elsewhere on Kent's roads, the A267 in Tunbridge Wells is currently impassable due to snow between the town and Five Ashes.
The A229 between Hawkhurst and Cranbrook is also impassable due to snow and the Met Office say the reason the start time of the weather alert was brought forward was to account for "some impacts developing late afternoon."
Drivers are also warned to avoid Grosvenor Road in Tunbridge Wells as several drivers have been spotted getting stuck in the area.
Many parts of the county are already covered including Ashford, Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, Folkestone, Dover and Sittingbourne.
A yellow weather warning enforced by the Met Office is in place until 9am although disruption is likely to continue throughout the day.
