Police investigation after child takes knife into Davington Primary School

An investigation has been launched after a child took a knife into a primary school.
The blade was seized by police at Davington Primary School, in Faversham.
Officers are now working with partner agencies and leaders at the school to determine what course of action is taken.
A report that a child had brought in a knife was made to police just before 12.20pm on Thursday.
There are no reports of any injuries.
A spokesman for the force said: "Officers are investigating the circumstances and are now working with partner agencies, including the school, to determine an appropriate course of action."
Davington is made up of 14 classes, from Reception up to Year 6.
