An accident between Canterbury and Faversham has closed two lanes of the A2.
Police and fire crews are at the scene of the two-vehicle crash between A2050 Rheims Way and the M2 junction 7 London-bound.
London-bound traffic is unable to exit the A2 after the A28 Wincheap exit.
Police spokesman Glenn Pearson said: "Police were called to the London-bound carriageway of the A2 Canterbury at 8.40am this morning following a report of a two vehicle collision.
"No one is reported to have been injured. Currently two lanes of the A2 are blocked."
Delays are building in the area.
CANTERBURY: Due to an accident on the A2 & both lanes being closed all Route 3s will be subject to delays. Sorry for this inconvenience.
