Crash on M2 near Faversham turn-off causing traffic queues

A crash on the M2 is causing tailbacks for miles.
At least two cars, one of which was a Ford Ka, have crashed on the coastbound carriageway near the junction 6 turn-off for Faversham.
One car had been left stationary in the fast lane as a result of the crash and an ambulance is now at the scene.
It is understood traffic has started to move again.
Police were not needed and Highways officers are dealing with the incident.
