Delays for motorists after three-car smash on the M2 between Sittingbourne and Faversham

Motorists travelling east on the M2 between Sittingbourne and Faversham can expect delays of up to 30 minutes following a three-car collision today.
Police were called to the scene near Doddington shortly before midday and have since moved the three vehicles onto the hard shoulder.
A Kent Police spokesman confirmed one lane had been closed following the accident, and that paramedics have now left the scene.
The spokesman added that injuries are not thought to be life threatening, and the vehicles are now awaiting recovery.
