A dog has been rescued from a water pipe after getting stuck in a drainage ditch.
Fire crews were called to help free the frightened canine after he fell into a dyke near Kemsdale Road, Faversham.
Crews wearing water safety equipment found the dog, a bull terrier breed, sitting on a concrete ledge next to flowing water.
Firefighters used a dog pole to prevent him from falling in before using a sheet to secure him.
The pooch was then lifted to safety and has been left in the care of his owners.
