Driver injured in A2 smash

A DRIVER was taken to hospital with suspected chest injuries after a two-car collision on the A2 at Faversham.
Police were called to the accident shortly after 3pm yesterday following a report that the road was blocked.
One of the cars involved, a blue Peugeot 306, needed to be towed from the scene by a recovery vehicle.
The injured driver was taken to the William Harvey Hospital at Ashford but later discharged. No one else was thought to have been hurt in the collision.
