Traffic held after accident on M2 near Junction 6 for Faversham

Traffic was held after an accident on the M2.
It caused tailbacks on the coast-bound carriageway at Junction 6, for the A251 Ashford Road, in Faversham.
Traffic website Inrix states four cars were involved.
Drivers heading coast-bound were forced to come off at Faversham and rejoin on the on-slip 50 yards down.
The National Highways traffic map showed congestion was backed up to Junction 5 causing delays of up to 50 minutes.
Police have been approached for comment.
