Two drivers have been injured after rubble was thrown at their cars from a bridge over the A2.
Objects were reportedly thrown at two cars travelling coastbound near Brenley Corner, between 6pm and 7pm yesterday.
The drivers of both vehicles visited hospital where they were treated for hand injuries.
A group of young people were reportedly seen on the bridge at the time of the incidents.
Police attended the scene and searched the area, but no suspects were found.
Sergeant Jason Hedges, of Swale Community Safety Unit, said: "Incidents of this nature are beyond reckless and place road users in serious, and unnecessary, danger.
"An investigation to identify those responsible is underway and increased patrols will take place in the area.
"I would urge parents in the area to speak with their children about the dangers of this type of offence – which can lead to a prison sentence."
Anyone with information related to these incidents is asked to call police on 01795 419119 quoting 46/36574/19.
