Faversham and Mid Kent general election results

Helen Whately has been re-elected MP for Faversham and Mid Kent with a thumping majority of more than 17,000.

The Conservative MP achieved 30,390 votes after two years serving the constituency.
Labour's Michael Desmond finished in second with an impressive 12,977 votes, more than 5,000 more votes than 2015.
Ukip on the other hand had a torrid night, losing more than 6,000 votes to finish in fourth.
