Fire at Courtenay Road, Dunkirk

Firefighters had to be called following a blaze that started in the oven of a home in Dunkirk.
Crews used a hose reel jet and a dry powder extinguisher to put out the flames and no one was injured.
Two fire engines were sent to the fire, which happened in Courtenay Road at around 6.20pm.
Crews had the fire under control within 20 minutes.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Firefighters helped the occupants of the property by giving home fire safety information and they also carried out a free Safe and Well Visit."
