Firefighters spent several hours battling a blaze in a field in Hernhill yesterday afternoon.
Crews have returned today (Sunday) to make sure the fire is completely out after spending eight hours there yesterday.
Around 500 square metres of grass and scrubland has been destroyed in Crockham Road.
Two fire crews were called to the scene where they used flexpacks, beaters and a fire-fogging system to put out the flames.
There are no reports of injuries and the cause of the fire is unkown.
