Delays on M2 between Sittingbourne and Faversham after crash

Four miles of queues are stretching back on the M2 following a multi-vehicle crash.
Up to five vehicles are thought to have been involved in the incident near to the A251 turn-off for Faversham.
Police closed one of the two coastbound lanes between Junction 5 for Sittingbourne and Junction 6 for Faversham, but have since reopened the route.
Despite the reopening at 6.10pm, National Highways is still warning of delays.
Motorists should expect a 30-minute wait in the queues as they slowly filter down the motorway past the crash site.
One of the vehicles involved overturned.
Emergency services are at the scene dealing with the incident.
