A KENT football club is in mourning following the death of a long-serving trustee after a freak accident.
Ken Hammond, whose association with Faversham Town FC went back more than 35 years, suffered a head injury in an accidental fall on a coach trip back from London with his wife Pam on Tuesday.
He died at the Medway Hospital at Gillingham on Wednesday afternoon. He was 75.
The club will be holding a two-minute silence before Saturday's game against Deal Town at Salters Lane. The players will wear black armbands as a mark of respect.
