Shopkeepers in Faversham came to the aid of a rough sleeper on Tuesday afternoon.
A homeless man known locally by two names, Bobby and Brian, sought refuge from the snow at E Street Music on East Street.
He had spent the previous night, which saw temperatures plummet below zero, sleeping in a tent.
The man, who used to work at a recording studio, spent between an hour and a half and two hours at the shop, playing the guitar and drinking coffee.
He was also given a hot meal at the Vaults pub on Preston Street.
Tim Brown, owner of E Street Music said: "I didn't realise he was homeless to start with and then he told me that he was.
"It's just really tough for homeless people out there. I wouldn't want to be out on the street at any time of year.
"There wasn't a great deal I could do for him, the best I could do was let him into the warmth for a while and give him a hot drink and let him play the guitar.
"I don't like to see people suffering if I can help it. There wasn't a huge amount I could do but I think he was quite happy."
The video shows him playing the song 'Angels'.
