Two celebrities – a TV personality and a West End star - have given a Kent hotel glowing reviews after separate recent stays.
Jordan Banjo, who shot to fame as part of Diversity on Britain’s Got Talent, and his wife Naomi celebrated their first wedding anniversary at the Cave Hotel in Boughton, between Faversham and Canterbury - documenting their romantic stay on social media.
The couple stayed in the penthouse suite at the much-loved resort.
The 30-year-old, who has featured on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here and presents the breakfast show on KISS FM, told his 607,000 Instagram followers: “Had the most beautiful anniversary night away at @cavecanterbury!
“They were beyond helpful and made the night as memorable as possible.
“100% one of the most insane places we’ve been!
“The food as well. Last time I had black cod was on my stag do, this was next level.”
Naomi added: “Let me tell you, this place was even more breathtaking than I imagined."
Enjoying an emotional night, the couple stayed in the penthouse suite where they watched their wedding video for the first time.
Later on, they tucked into dinner at The Firepit restaurant and played a few games of pool as the parents-of-three relaxed on their special day.
Meanwhile, West End actress Carrie Hope Fletcher and her partner Joel Montague were also seen enjoying a mini-break at the resort in the past few days.
Taking the time to thank the team at the Cave on Instagram, the 30-year-old is preparing for her official wedding nearby in the county - having previously eloped to Gretna Green earlier this year.
She said: ”Huge love and thanks to @cavecanterbury who gifted us a gorgeous two-night stay before our wedding round the corner! The dinner at @firepitatcave was a particular highlight! Absolutely delicious!
“But the beds…the BEDS! Never slept on anything as soft and cosy. What a dream of a stay. Thank you for making that weekend even more special!”
Carrie is no stranger to the county, having been the star attraction at the production of Sleeping Beauty which played at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury last year.
In an interview with KentOnline to promote the play, the experienced actress spoke of her admiration for Canterbury - calling it “a beautiful place”.
