The Kent Police Museum is moving to Faversham.
After relocating from Chatham Historic Dockyard in September last year to their headquarters in Maidstone, they are now setting up home in Faversham.
They are keeping hush about what exact plans are in place but it looks like the Church Road building is the new permanent home for the artefacts and archives.
On their website, they say that their vision for the future is to “deliver a modern, inspiring and interactive museum, which captures the past, present and future of Kent Police”.
They have set up a new Twitter profile and already have Facebook and Instagram accounts.
On Facebook, they posted: “We would love to hear from anyone who would be interested in volunteering with the museum.”
They also posted a picture of Faversham police station with the caption ‘our beautiful home-to-be’.
They are expected to open next year.
