Delays have cleared after an earlier crash involving two vans on the M2.
The collision happened on the coast-bound carriageway near to the junction 6 turn-off towards Faversham and Ashford at about 2.30pm.
Both lanes of the carriageway were blocked for more than two hours, with vehicles passing the scene on the hard shoulder.
At one point, tailbacks stretched beyond junction 5 for Sittingbourne and Maidstone.
The carriageway had fully reopened by 5pm, but lengthy delays remained for another half an hour.
