M2 crash sparks long queues near Faversham

A crash on the M2 sparked queues of traffic almost four miles long.
Motorists were held up on the London-bound carriageway following the accident between Junction 5 for Faversham and Junction 6 for Sittingbourne.
Emergency crews were called at about 3pm to reports a car had struck the central reservation and overturned.
An air ambulance was called to the scene, and the driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Initially the road was completely blocked, but vehicles were later allowed to pass the scene in one lane while highways officers awaited the recovery of the vehicle.
The road was completely reopen again just before 7pm.
