Body of man found in lake near Harty Ferry Road, Faversham

The body of a man has been found in a lake following a large-scale search.
The tragic discovery was made near Faversham by police officers who were alerted to the victim's disappearance last night.
Teams were called to a lake close to Harty Ferry Road earlier today to conduct searches after the man, who has not been named, was reported missing from the Faversham area at 10.40pm.
Specialist sonar and drone teams from Kent Search and Rescue (KSAR) were also deployed to the lake but were stood down at around 2.20pm.
A spokesman confirmed on social media that they had found a body.
"Our deepest condolences to family and friends at this difficult time and thank you to all KSAR members who assisted in this difficult search," they added.
A police spokesman said: "Officers investigating a man reported missing from the Faversham area at around 10.40pm on Sunday have recovered a body of a man.
"While formal identification has yet to take place, the man’s next of kin has been informed..."
