A Kent family look set to go viral again with their latest - and last - lockdown song.

The Marsh household, who live in Faversham, are back with Lockdown World, a take on Billy Joel's Uptown Girl.

University of Kent history lecturer Dr Ben Marsh, his wife Danielle, and his children - Alfie, Thomas, Ella, and Tess became a viral sensation last year when they took to singing about things people had been complaining about in the first coronavirus lockdown.

And their last release while restrictions are in place also sees them unveil their latest addition to the family - Boo the puppy.

Their renditions of Les Misérables song One Day More and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart among others have been watched by tens of thousands around the world.

Now the singing sensations have recorded Lockdown World, which features clever lyrics, including rhyming 'time' with 'confined' and 'vaccines' with 'spike proteins'.

It also includes the lines "These face masks can now come off... must be fine if you cough?"

They released it ahead of restrictions easing on Monday, July 19, and is the last for lockdown, though not their last ever, saying it involved "Lots of excitement, lots of apprehension, lots of harmonies... and a puppy."
