THE new Mayor of Faversham was installed in a special ceremony last night (Monday).

Town councillor Ted Wilcox was appointed to take over from retiring mayor Trevor Fentiman, who spent the last two years in office.

Cllr Anita Walker was also installed as Deputy Mayor during the ceremony, which was attended by dignitaries including Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports, Admiral the Lord Boyce.
